Reiki Retreat by Lisa

**The spaces between us.** At El Triángulo, in Mazunte, Lisa brought a group of people together around a shared practice: Reiki, energy, and the possibility of listening to ourselves in a different way. Throughout the retreat, my intention was to tell the story beyond the activities themselves. To observe the gestures, the elements, the spaces, and the small moments that come together to shape an experience. The hands that offer support, the objects that take on meaning, the attention of the person guiding the practice, and the presence of those who allow themselves to simply be there. We also made time for individual portraits of each participant. A way of recognizing the people behind the experience, each with their own story, their own way of inhabiting the space, and whatever brought them there. Because documenting a gathering is about more than showing what happened. It's about getting closer to the atmosphere, the connections, and everything that may be difficult to put into words, yet stays with us long after the moment has passed.
