Roberto was with us through the whole process: the civil ceremony, the casual shoot and the wedding day. By the wedding he was one of us, and you can see it in the photos: nobody posed, everyone was just being themselves.
We were afraid our wedding would get lost in posed photos. The opposite happened: we laughed all day, and Roberto was there, almost invisible, for every moment that mattered.
We met Roberto at a freediving practice in Puerto Ángel. Afterwards we started doing acroyoga on the beach and he just watched, no camera. A few days later we did the shoot, and the photos feel exactly like that afternoon.
We'd never felt so free in front of a camera. No poses: we played with the mud, the rocks, the sea. Roberto kept up with us and found moments we didn't even know had happened.
