I told Roberto that sometimes, when I sing, whales come. He didn't laugh. Halfway through the shoot I started singing and one appeared, out of season. I don't know what was more magical: that, or seeing myself in the photos so calm, so me.
I wanted photos that showed every side of me: the one who runs temazcales, the one who rescues dogs, the one who laughs at everything. Roberto set up a session with the four elements and another with my dogs. I recognized myself in every single one.
